Description of the trip<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Guided canoe and hiking trip in Repovesi National Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tour starts at the national park gate at the time of welcome and information and continues according to a pre-agreed program.<\/p>\n

The normal course of the program is as follows:<\/p>\n

  • Guided hiking to the campfire site<\/li>\n
  • Welcome coffees with stuffed bun (meat or fish filling)<\/li>\n
  • Departure to the waters by our canoes<\/li>\n
  • Lunch by the campfire<\/li>\n

    The program is adjusted according to the size of the group. The determining factor is the number of canoes, which can accommodate 16 people at a time in addition to the guide. Two people usually go in one canoe. Some can have three if the size of the group with the guide is odd.
    \nThe guide gives good instructions for handling the canoes and thus ensures a safe trip. The tools themselves are stable.<\/p>\n

    A canoe trip will introduce you to the park’s prehistory, rock paintings, and last ice age.
    \nWe may also visit the Natural Theater, which hosts concerts every year.<\/p>\n

    During the hike, you usually visit the Katajavuori viewpoint and cross the water twice, along the Lapinsalmi suspension bridge and by hand-operated ferry.<\/p>\n

    The day can be extended with a sauna and a good dinner. Ask about opportunities!<\/p>\n
