Picnic trip paddling with single kayaks

Tour Information

A day trip by paddling test-winner single kayaks with your family or friends. The tour is as you like. You choose the date and time for your trip is between 8 am and 6 pm.

Group size
The group size with single kayaks is 2-4 persons. But you can have the bigger group if you choose the same trip with duo kayaks and/or with open canoes. This way, the maximum group size is 18 persons.

You can make your booking by choosing along Picnic trip by duo kayak and/or Picnic trip by canoe if you need them.

Tour Includes

• An excellent test-winner single kayaks with all necessary material and safety vests
• Good advice about the kayaks and the area, maps are included.
• Waterproof bags for your clothes, phones, keys, if you need ones.

Picnic lunch for everyone, including

• Filled sandwiches
• Sausage, 2/person (200 g)
• Coffee/tea with sugar and milk
• Cups
• Coffee pot/teapot
• Matches and first aid for lighting a fire
• 1/2 l water bottle to everyone if you need them

Help your self day trip by paddling a single kayak

Spend a beautiful day by paddling. Feel and taste the wellness and energy that only Finnish nature can give you.
Paddling in a single kayak with your close friends is an effortless way to take a trip on our clear lakes. You may stop on a nature reserve and have a picnic lunch around a campfire.

If you have enough time, you may visit Unesco World Heritage Site Verla Groundwood and Board Mill, open in May-September. That will take a whole day from morning to early evening. It is possible to have delivery back to the starting point.

Tour Excludes

Delivery to/from Verla village, price 25 €/direction
We transport the kayak and persons to/from starting and return points: Verla village and Nauriskarkiantie 34.

Tour Note

Self-service excursion. Take care of your insurances.

We take care of our customers’ safety, that is why it is not allowed to start the trip during a thunderstorm or strong wind. In a case like that, we can change the starting time or day.
