Principles of sustainable nature tourism
Responsibility in nature is the basis of the Repovesikeskus’ operations. Therefore, we follow the principles of sustainable nature tourism, which are also included in our agreement with Metsähallitus.
We hope that everyone who visits Repovesi National Park will follow responsibility and these same principles of sustainable nature tourism.
Our responsible operations focus not only on nature but also on our activities with our customers and partners. We tell about them in our values, our blog, and some publications.

Our guidelines
Metsähallitus has issued guidelines to their contract partners, including things to consider in responsible operations in national parks and other nature reserves.
That guidance is the basic guideline for all our responsible and environmentally friendly activities.

Local food
Dining is one of the highlights of the nature trip. We have solved many details to provide meals and coffee moments responsibly. For us, local food means a meal prepared nearby by us. For example, grain grown in the kitchen’s own fields is present.
